How it all began…
The Beginning
In the fall of 2018, Jon and Amanda matched on the dating app Bumble — where women have to message guys first. Her witty introduction caught Jon’s eye and he asked her out on their first date at a wine bar in the West Village.
The Middle
Since then, Jon and Amanda have spent the past two years enjoying both domestic and international adventures with their family and friends. A few of their favorite trips have been to Vermont, Mexico, Virginia, New Hampshire, Maine, Seattle, Martha’s Vineyard, and Greece. In June 2019, they also welcomed Duncan to their family and began testing their parenting skills on their overly loved fur baby.
The Next Chapter
Jon proposed to Amanda on February 1, 2020, during their first trip to New Orleans. During the long weekend, they celebrated eating, drinking, and adventuring through the Bayou.
